MEWP - mobile elevating work platforms

Our training on mobile work platforms strongly emphasizes the safety aspects of working with scissor lifts, boom lifts and other types of lifts. We go through general risks, weight distribution, checks and maintenance.

​​​​​​​Our goal is that, in addition to the qualification itself, you should also benefit from the course as much financially and in terms of safety as possible. Knowledgeable and careful staff reduce costs around downtime due to accidents. Correct use of the equipment saves money on wear and tear, maintenance and repairs.

We use LLP 1 - Basic Lift Training according to SS-ISO 18878:2004
  • You do the theory online and when you have passed the theory test you contact us to carry out the practical driving part with us in Gävle or at another agreed location.

Who needs an education?

The simple answer is that EVERYONE who uses a mobile work platform (lift) in their work must have education and training on the lift. So not only the person who drives, but also the person who rides along.
Whoever issues the written authorization must also be able to show a certificate of appropriate knowledge. So it is not enough just to be a manager.
According to the Swedish Work Environment Agency's regulations, anyone who uses a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) must be familiar with the work and have theoretical and practical knowledge for safe use - in practice, have good MEWP training. Employers must have documentation of the employee's theoretical and practical knowledge. The employee must also have the employer's written permission to use a lift.
